How to Look Good in Your Wedding Photos

Having looked at countless photos, both good and bad, of brides over the years has helped us come up with this list of tips for brides:

Pick the right dress
The fantasty wedding dress you have been dreaming of could look like a nightmare on you. Keep in mind your body type; established boutiques have experienced salespeople to help you pick the right dress.

Pick the right undergarments
Lumps and bumps under pale fabric are not particularly flattering. Spend the time and money to get the right undergarments to give you smooth lines and keep everything in its place. Again, experienced salespeople should be able to help you with this.

Get your makeup done professionally
Professional makeup artists know how to apply makeup to make you look good and, more importantly, to make you look good in photographs. Have a trial run with your makeup artist so that you're comfortable.

Get some sleep
Don't stay up until 3 a.m. the night before the wedding tying favours or writing placement cards; go to bed. All the excitement of your wedding day can't make up for a good night's sleep.

Relax
Your friends and family are there to celebrate with you. If you're relaxed and enjoying yourself, your wedding photos will show it.
